ERPCV or Teal?

Which is better for SAP and ERP consultants?

Index cards laid out in columns on a desk like a job search planning board

Which should you choose?

Choose Teal

If you are running a high-volume search and want tracking, tailoring and networking in one tool, especially on its free plan.

Choose ERPCV

If your ERP experience is not coming across on paper. Many consultants will use ERPCV for the content and a tracker like Teal for the search.

Start free diagnosis

The short answer

Teal is more than a CV builder. It combines an AI resume builder with a job tracker, a Chrome extension for saving jobs, keyword matching against each advert and a small networking CRM. If you run a busy search with dozens of applications, it keeps everything in one place, and the free plan is genuinely usable.

What Teal does not do is tell you whether your ERP evidence is convincing. That is the part ERPCV focuses on. This Teal resume builder review compares the two fairly, with prices checked on Teal’s own site on 19 October 2026.

What Teal does well

Teal offers unlimited CVs and unlimited job tracking on its free plan, plus a limited number of AI credits for bullets, summaries and cover letters. Its paid plan, Teal+, removes the limits and adds full keyword matching, advanced design settings and more email templates for each job stage.

  • Organisation: the job tracker and Chrome extension make it easy to manage many applications at once.
  • Tailoring: a match score shows how closely each CV version fits an advert.
  • A free plan with no time limit and no credit card required.
  • Flexible billing: Teal+ can be paid weekly, monthly or quarterly.

Teal says more than four million people have used it. It is a well-designed product with a clear focus on running the search, not just writing the CV.

Why a match score is not proof of ERP delivery

Teal’s matching tells you which words from an advert are missing. For ERP roles the missing piece is usually not a word. It is the evidence behind the words: what you owned, how big it was and what changed. Two CVs can score the same while only one convinces a programme manager.

SAP EWM project bullet
As written

SAP EWM, warehouse management, RF, inbound, outbound, putaway, picking, packing.

With the evidence

Implemented EWM for a 60,000-pallet distribution centre, designed RF putaway and wave picking, and ran a weekend cutover with zero missed shipments on day one.

Both lines match the advert. Only the second shows a warehouse director you have done it under pressure.

Dynamics 365 CRM summary line
As written

Passionate CRM professional skilled in Dynamics 365, Power Platform and customer engagement.

With the evidence

Dynamics 365 Sales and Customer Service consultant for insurance firms, building Power Automate approval flows and leading data migration from Salesforce.

The sector, the products and a migration are what a recruiter matches you on. Passion is assumed.

The rewritten lines are illustrative. In an ERPCV pack, numbers only appear when your own CV or review supports them.

Teal pricing compared with ERPCV

On 19 October 2026 Teal listed Teal+ at USD 13 every 7 days, USD 29 every 30 days or USD 79 every 90 days. Subscriptions renew automatically. Refund requests are reviewed case by case within a window that depends on the plan, for example 7 days from the start of a monthly billing period.

One practical point for ERP consultants: Teal exports PDF only. Many ERP recruiters and agencies ask for a Word file so they can format it for their client, so check what your target employers expect.

ERPCV is a one-off purchase, charged in UAE dirhams:

  • Career Evidence Pack, AED 69.78 (about USD 19), one payment.
  • Pack with Noel’s recorded review, AED 547.20 (about USD 149), which adds a 5 to 10 minute recorded review from Noel within 3 working days.
  • Pack with a 30-minute call, AED 914.45 (about USD 249), which adds a live 30-minute call with Noel.

A workflow that uses both

Teal and ERPCV do different jobs, so they can work together:

  • Build your master CV and project portfolio with ERPCV.
  • Track applications, contacts and follow-ups in Teal’s free plan.
  • Use the match score to spot missing terms, and add them only where your projects support them.
  • Reuse ERPCV’s recruiter answers as you move roles through Teal’s interview stages.

Getting the most from a free plan

Teal’s free plan is enough for many searches if you use the AI credits carefully. A few habits help:

  • Spend AI credits on drafts you will rewrite, not on final text.
  • Keep one master CV and save a copy per role type, such as functional lead or solution architect, rather than one per advert.
  • Record every recruiter conversation in the tracker, including which CV version you sent.
  • Review the match score last, after the evidence is right.

Upgrade only if you hit the limits during an active search; a weekly or monthly plan you remember to cancel can be cheaper than you expect.

What is in an ERPCV pack

Because Teal and ERPCV are often compared on the CV alone, it helps to see everything the pack covers. Each document carries the same evidence into a different moment of your search:

  1. Consultant CVprojects led by what you owned, not by module lists.
  2. Project portfoliotwo or three projects in more depth, for the interviewer who wants detail.
  3. 10 LinkedIn outreach messagesshort, specific notes to recruiters and hiring managers.
  4. 20 recruiter questions and answersthe questions ERP interviewers ask, answered from your own history.
  5. Career roadmapthe roles your evidence supports now, and what to build next.

All five are editable Word files in your account. Review every line before you use it; nothing is added that your source CV does not support.
