Each row is reproduced as the publisher printed it, in the original currency. Nothing is averaged or converted. Rows marked “related role” are broader benchmarks, shown for context.

Base salary or package: check before you compare
A base salary and a gross package are different numbers. Some publishers report basic pay only. Others include housing and transport allowances. Before you compare an offer with any range on this page, ask the employer to split the offer into basic salary, each fixed allowance and any variable pay, all in SAR and per month.
Only compare like with like. A package figure set against a base-salary benchmark will look generous when it may not be, and the reverse is also true.
Match the responsibility, not only the title
Titles travel badly between employers. A “lead” at a consultancy may run one workstream; a “lead” at an end-user company may own the whole finance template. Compare the modules, the delivery phase, the size of the programme and who reports to you.
If your experience is deeper than the title suggests, the CV has to show it: the scope you owned, the decisions you made and what changed after go-live. That is what a hiring manager uses to place you within a range.
Ask about everything outside the salary
Ask about annual flights, medical cover for dependants, schooling support, the notice period, probation, end-of-service terms and whether the contract is direct or through a third party. These change the real value of an offer and are rarely in a published range.
What these figures do not tell you
- All four ranges come from one publisher’s placement data, with no published sample size.
- There is no published range for individual SAP modules, for senior consultants or for contractor rates in the sources that meet our standard.
- The figures are base salary. Housing, transport and other allowances are not part of these numbers.
